This article considers the treatment of the non-European Union national by the Czech Republic in
the framework of the European Union’s Legislation on the one side and the approach of the European Court of Human Rights on the other side. It discusses the international legal standards to the treatment of the non-EU national, focusing on the Czech Republic, in its contemporary situation.
